Vocal Master Classes

Offered in New York City and at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois, these master classes offer serious singing students an opportunity to perform for their peers, as well as getting a fresh perspective on technique and interpretation.

Master classes are a unique chance for singers to gain an outside perspective on their singing. While we may say all the same things as your regular instructor, hearing it presented differently often has astonishing effects!

Acting for Singers

Singers can be convincing actors, too! Part of the work of a singer, particularly in Grand Opera, is to be a convincing actor. How much is enough? How much is too much?

This course offers intensive work in stage deportment, natural movement, role research, interpretation, tapping inner resources to bring a role to life, etc.
